APL+Win Version 89.2.05 Copyright (c) 2009 APLNow LLC. All Rights Reserved October 15, 2009 This document contains important information pertaining to APL+Win Version 89.2.05. This beta will expire on or about November 1, 2009. This beta contains several important bug fixes. They are: 1. APLGUI: Fixed bug that caused the mouse to be unresponsive in ActiveX objects like APL Grid. 2. APLGUI: Fixed bug that caused the XEditCopy method in the Formula One ActiveX object to give the error: []WI ERROR: exception 800A4E3B Unable to open clipboard. Bugs fixed in prior versions: Ver: 89.2.03 Beta 1. Interpreter: Fixed bug in versions 6.2.02 and later that caused the global value of []WSELF to be changed when calling a function with []WSELF localized . 2. Interpreter: Fixed bug that caused the Wait method on the stack to break when an error occured in the session in versions 9.0 and 9.1. There is a new APLW.INI compatibility switch called "BreakWaitOnError" to control this behavior. The default value is 0 which gives the behavior seen in versions 6 to 8. This must be set to 1 to get the newer behavior (that breaks wait on error) in versions 9.0 and 9.1. 3. APLGUI: Fixed bug in the version 89.2.01 beta that caused APL GUI controls to be disabled when made visible. 4. APLGUI: Fixed bug in versions 89.2.01 (beta) and earlier that caused Unicode characters to not display correctly in the Listview control when it was a child of the Page control. Ver: 89.2.01 Beta 1. Interpreter: Executing "[]TCNL.[]TCNL" caused an APL+Win System Failure report in APL+Win. A []TCNL. with other things like []AV caused a similar report. 2. APL GUI: Executing the Windows API EM_SetTextEx with an argument containing "[]TCNL" in the RichEdit control caused the selfont property to change to the System font. 3. APL GUI: Disabling the parent object containing an ActiveX control resulted in painting problems for the ActiveX control when its parent was disabled then re-enabled with the enabled property. 4. Session Manager: The font selected in the Font for Printer and Font for Screen dialogs retained the selection when cancelling the dialog. ////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// Even if you are not currently experiencing any of these issues with your current APL+Win system, we encourage you to test your programs with it to ensure that there are no new unintended problems that surface resulting from one or more of these bug fixes.
